3. Wine features

Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino produce this Chianti Superiore d.o.c.g. "Borro ai Frati". Its exuberant particularly lively ruby red, introduces this wine, so fresh and rich of vinous aromas, making it easy on the palate and a welldeserved suited to "drink Tuscany". Serve at a temperature of 18° and it's ideal matched with traditional Tuscan cuisine

Aged for 12 months in oak barrels by 500lt

Vineyards located around Montaione.
Ground: with strong skeletal structure, the soil is clayey
Altitude: 400 meters above sea level
Exposure: South/south-east
Farm Type: spurred cordon; 5,500 Grape bunches per hectare
